Choosing the right toroidal transformer

A few decisions shape every toroidal design — sharing this detail lets us quote and prototype faster:

Voltage & regulation Primary/secondary voltages, taps and the load regulation you need set the turns ratio, copper size and core. Tighter regulation means more copper and a larger toroid.
Stray field & noise Where low radiated field and low audible hum matter (audio, medical, metrology), winding symmetry, balancing and a magnetic screen can be designed in.
Temperature rise Core and copper loss drive temperature rise and insulation class; we select core size, wire gauge and potting to stay inside your thermal limit.
Isolation & safety Creepage and clearance, the insulation system (reinforced or screened) and compliance to IEC 61558 / EN 61558, CE and UL are designed in from the start.
Mounting Centre-bolt, base plate, flying-lead or fully potted — with terminations and dimensions to suit your enclosure and assembly.

    Toroidal transformers run cooler and quieter with higher efficiency, lower stray magnetic field and a more compact, lighter package – ideal for audio, medical and instrumentation. EI laminated types remain a rugged, lower-cost choice for general power and control.
    What power ratings and voltages do you cover?
    From a few VA to multi-kVA, with the primary/secondary voltages, multiple outputs, taps and regulation built to your specification.
    Can you minimise audible noise and stray field?
